I attended the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) State Congress held today in the state capital, Asaba, where Peter Markpor, SAN, officially emerged as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.
The congress brought together party leaders, delegates, and stakeholders from across the state, marking another important step in strengthening the PDP’s leadership structure in Delta State.
I warmly congratulate Peter Markpor, SAN, and the entire newly elected executive members on their well-deserved victory. Their emergence reflects the collective confidence that party members have in their leadership and vision for the future of the party in Delta State.
With this new leadership team in place, I can confidently say that the Delta State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party is in safe and capable hands. I am optimistic that the party will continue to grow stronger, more united, and better positioned to serve the people of Delta State.
As we look ahead, preparations are already underway for the upcoming Peoples Democratic Party National Convention, scheduled to take place on March 29th and 30th in the Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria.
I encourage Nigerians and political stakeholders to continue supporting and joining the Peoples Democratic Party, which remains a household name and one of the most formidable political platforms in Nigeria’s democratic landscape.
