On Thursday, May 15, 2014, it was confirmed that one individual lost his life during a clash between the rival groups at a bar located near College Junction in Agbor-Obi, within the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.
Sources have revealed that members of the Black Axe confraternity, also referred to as, Aye (NBM), launched an attack on a group of patrons who are recognized as formidable members of the opposing group, the Supreme Vikings Confraternity (DNKI).
According to reports, the Black Axe members invaded the bar and began to fire indiscriminately at the Vikings members while they were engaged in socializing and celebrations, resulting in the death of one Aye member, identified as
Kalu John, also known as Piton Killer, who was tragically shot and killed by rival cult members in a brutal act.
Recent reports highlight a disturbing trend of violent clashes involving weapons like axes and guns, frequently resulting in chaos in Agbor and the surrounding Owa area.
In the aftermath, several individuals who were drinking at the bar prior to the incident have been labeled as wanted by security forces. Sources confirmed that some members of the Vikings group present at the bar during the unfortunate event include Mr. Emmanuel Sunday, also referred to as, Emma Ratty, Mr. Ogboi John, and others who are currently evading arrest, as authorities work diligently to bring them in for potential prosecution. Sadly, the assailants from the Black Axe were wearing masks, complicating efforts to identify them.
